In my work, I explore the fragility of being human and the limits of existence through birds. My practice is rooted in drawing and surrealism, where the bird becomes a metaphor for the human condition. Through these creatures, I reflect on life and transience, the silent connections between people, and the presence of empathy. My aim is to raise questions about compassion and how it is visible in our society, both toward oneself and toward others.
The perspectives in my work grow from the philosophy of existence and from the significance and transience of everyday life. I observe the world through small moments that are often overlooked in the rush of daily life, yet whose meaning deepens when they can no longer be shared with someone close. I approach this through drawing, where calmness, melancholy, and an empathetic sensitivity are always present. My works return to the quiet questions of life that we all feel but rarely say out loud.
